A bequest may include assets such as movable or immovable property, money, jewelry, artwork and/or copyrights. A bequest net of fees and taxes lets you transfer part of your estate without decreasing the inheritance you leave to loved ones including siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins or friends.

Donation inter vivos

A donation inter vivos allows you to transfer any type of asset (a house, land, furniture, jewelry, car, artwork or money) during your lifetime, while benefiting from a tax reduction. When you donate an asset with bare ownership, you can continue to enjoy its use. You can also donate objects.
